Tour Plan Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival and Acclimatization: Welcome to Leh

After landing in Leh, get welcomed by our representative who will transfer you to the hotel. Check-In to your hotel, after completion of Check-in formalities; spend a relaxing day getting proper rest. Get acclimatized to the climate. It is little crucial to drink plenty of water due to high altitude and normal to low oxygen level. Later on visit local Leh market for exploring and shopping of Tibetan handicrafts of go cafe hopping to try the delicious Ladakhi cuisine. Also you can visit Shanti Stupa as well. Return back to the hotel for a lip-smaking dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

Day2: Leh Local Sight-Seeing and Sham valley

After having a healthy breakfast in the morning, start your day for Leh tour. Drive to sham valley which is beautifully nestled around Srinagar-Leh highway and also called Apricot Valley. Start –off the sightseeing by paying homage to martyrs of Indo-Pak war at the Hall of Fame. En-route visit Magnetic hill, a natural phenomenon where vehicles appear to defy gravity. Visit Indus Sangam viewpoint to watch the confluence of Zanskar and Indus River. Visit the Leh Palace which was built in the 17th century that will give you an insight into the bygone golden era of Leh. Later visit local Leh market and after a day filled with fun and adventure, return back to your hotel for delicious dinner and overnight stay.

Day3: Leh to Nubra Valley

After having a delicious breakfast in the morning, get ready for the Nubra Valley adventure. This journey will take you through some of the highest passes in the world and will greet you with the ever-changing views of the barren land. Take a stopover at the cafe on Khardung-La Pass ( 17,882 ft , 40km from Leh ), the world' s highest all-season motorable road and soak in the views as you will feel like on top of the world. As you leave from Khardung-la top, experience a change in landscape from the barren cold desert to the white sand desert as you enter the Nubra Valley full of Sand Dunes. If time permits, visit the oldest and the largest monastery of Ladakh, the Diskit Monastery, which also houses a large Buddha statue. Enjoy the exquisite double-humped Bactrian Camel Ride, exclusively found in this region, as this region was a part of the famous silk route. Later enjoy Cottage/Camping with a bonfire under the sky full of stars. Have a dinner & overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

Day4: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake

Wake up in the morning in the beautiful Nubra Valley and have a healthy breakfast. Get ready for the most awaited day as you will be visiting Pangong Lake on the Indo-China border. We will start the day following the same route towards Leh till we reach Khalsar. From the Agyam bridge, we will take the left route which leads us to the villages of Shyok Valley and Durbuk Village and then Tangtse and follow the traditional route. One of the highest altitude saline water lakes, Pangong Tso will greet you with its changing colours from shades of blue to green to red. Spend the rest of the day exploring the surroundings of the Pangong Lake with the view of the Shyok river on one side and the mountains on another side. Explore the lake area, might catch some rare wildlife. You can also recreate some of the moments from your favorite Bollywood movies like 3-idiots and Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Check in into the Cottages/Camps just few metres from pangong lake , enjoy the sunset and get ready to witness the clear sky with millions of star twinkling. Have a Dinner and overnight stay in Pangong lake camps.

Day5: Pangong to Leh

After a healthy breakfast. As you mark your way back to Leh, take a small stopover at the Chang-la Pass which is one of the highest mountain passes in the world. You can also visit the Chang-la Cafe, located just on the Changla Pass. Visit the Changla Baba Temple on top, after which the pass got its name and is believed to be the guardian of the people visiting Chang La. One can also visit the beautifully structured Thiksey Monastery Upon reaching Leh, check in to the hotel followed by dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay at a hotel in the Leh.

Day6: Departure

After having breakfast, complete check-out formalities at hotel. Later you will be transferred to Leh Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport for your onward journey. It’s time to say goodbye to the mountains. Have a happy journey.
